2008 Olympic floor exercise champion Sandra Izbasa of Romania is the top headliner at the upcoming Nadia Comaneci International Invitational, to take place Feb. 21 in Oklahoma City.

Many of the gymnasts competing in Oklahoma City will first take part in the WOGA Classic on Saturday in Frisco, Texas.

Izbasa and teammate Daniela Druncea will represent Romania at their compatriot's competition, which will also include gymnasts from Israel, Kazakhstan, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine and the U.S.

World Cup gold medalist Elsa Garcia (Mexico), recovering from injury sustained in December, will attend the competition as a guest and may perform an exhibition routine.

Both the WOGA Classic and Nadia Comaneci invitationals span three days and include gymnasts from Level 4 through elite.

"I am so excited that more than 600 gymnasts are coming to the meet, and I am especially proud that 2008 Olympic floor exercise champion Sandra Izbasa of Romania and Elsa Garcia of Mexico will be here with us in Oklahoma," Comaneci said. "Bart [Conner] and I hope to grow the prestige of this competition over the next several years. It will be fun to watch some of the world's top newcomers to the international scene from the other countries as well. I can't wait to have them all here."

IG Online will do live quick hits of the competition, which begins at 7 p.m. local time (8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST). The Nadia Comaneci International Invitational will be broadcast locally in April, and DVDs of the broadcast will be available on IG's store at GripsEtc.com. Olympic champion Nastia Liukin will make her commentating debut for the broadcast.
