Russia finalized its women's team for the upcoming Olympics following a mock competition on Friday.

Ksenia Afanasyeva, Yekaterina Kramarenko, Anna Pavlova and Ksenia Semyonova already had secured places on the team. They will be joined by Svetlana Klyukina and Daria Yelizarova, head coach Andrei Rodionenko announced.

Klyukina was a member of the 2006 and 2007 Russian world teams. Yelizarova, the 2006 Junior European champion, was Russia's alternate to the 2007 worlds.

With the addition of Yelizarova, half the team hails from the city of Tula. Tula natives Afanasyeva and Semyonova are coached by Marina Nazarova, while Yelizarova is coached by Yelena Gaiderova and Olga Baranova.

Lyudmila Yezhova Grebenkova, the third gymnast in contention for the final two spots, is the first alternate to the team. She and Pavlova were members of Russia's bronze-medal team at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.

The team is training in the Siberian city of Leninsk-Kuznetsky, which is in the same time zone as Beijing.
