Moscow to Hold 2013 Europeans

The 2013 European Gymnastics Championships for men and women will take place in Moscow, April 17-21. The Russian federation had intended to hold the competition in Kazan, site of the 2013 World University Games, but instead moved the event to the capital.

Russia previously played host to the European championships in St. Petersburg in 1998, while Moscow held the event in 1987. The 2013 event will be for all-around and individual apparatus.
