Overall champion Viktoria Komova, who scored 16.20 in Friday's all-around final, fell on her new double full-out dismount but still won the bronze (15.100/7.0D). Two-time Olympian Anna Pavlova won the vault gold medal over Tatiana Nabiyeva and Anna Myzdrikova. Pavlova still has not restored the Amanar vault she competed at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, making her a long shot for a third Olympic Games. Nikita Ignatyev, who finished fifth in the men's all-around final, remains in the Olympic mix with gold medals on floor exercise and high bar. Penza's own Denis Ablyazin, the top qualifier to the floor final, tumbled the most difficulty routine in the world (7.1 D) but fell to place fifth. All-around champion David Belyavsky picked up a complete set of medals with the gold on pommel horse, silver on high bar and bronze on floor exercise. All-around silver medalist Sergei Khorokhordin earned the silver on floor exercise and bronze on high bar, while all-around bronze medalist Igor Pakhomenko was third on pommel horse. Head coach Andrei Rodionenko announced that Ablyazin, Alexander Balandin and Emin Garibov have already secured spots on Russia's Olympic team based on their medal-winning performances at May's European championships. Belyavsky's strong performance in Penza should guarantee him a berth, leaving Khorokhordin, Ignatyev and Pakhomenko as the leading contenders for the final ticket to London. Competition continues Saturday with the first day of apparatus finals. External Link: Russian Gymnastics Federation 2012 Russian Cup
