The Romanian quintet, ages 11-13, led Cetate Deva to first place in Saturday's qualification and in Sunday's "Top Five" final. In the final, Cetate had the top totals on all but uneven bars, winning by a margin of nearly 3 points. Madalina Blenda had the best mark on balance beam with 13.850 (front aerial, ff, layout; side somi; 1 1/2 turn with leg held, ff, ff, double twist dismount — click here to watch video). Adela Florea, 11, had the top mark on floor exercise with 13.050 (watch), tied with teammate Laura Jurca (watch). German club Gym Tittmoning, with Spanish guests Cintia Rodriguez and Carolina Sanchez took second over Hamburg-Wedel. Rodriguez, a world team member in 2010, had the top mark on uneven bars. The competition also included a "Lucky Loser" round featuring the clubs that did not advance to the final. Gymnastique Combs de Ville II (90.550) won over Gym Tittmoning II (87.600) and Great Britain's Dynamo School of Gymnastics (87.350). Uzbekistan, the 2010 overall champion, took fourth (82.950), followed by Euregio Gymfed Limburg (82.350) and Garstang School of Gymnastics (81.800).
