2011 International Gymnastics Hall of Fame honorees Steffi Kräker, Lavinia Milosovici, Dr. Michel Leglise and Leonid Arkayev pose with Bart Conner, Maria Olaru and Nadia Comaneci on Friday at the IG office in Norman.

Friday the 13th was a lucky day for the staff at International Gymnast magazine in Norman, Okla. On the eve of the 15th annual induction ceremony of the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame, a few of the honored guests toured the IG offices, which are filled with photographs, magazines and programs which chronicle their numerous achievements through the years.

In short, it was an inspirational day, mingling with the likes of the venerable Leonid Arkayev of Russia, Steffi Kräker of Germany and Lavinia Milosovici of Romania. Also present was Dr. Michel Leglise of France, who will receive the AAI International Order of Merit for his work with the FIG as President of the Medical and Anti-doping Commission.

Russia's Alexander Tkatchev, the fourth member of the Class of 2011, is scheduled to arrive Friday evening.

"I am very honored to be here," said Milosovici, who was accompanied by her husband, Cosmin Vanatu, and friend Maria Olaru, the 1999 world all-around champion.

The induction dinner will be held Saturday evening at the exclusive Petroleum Club in Oklahoma City. And this four-member class will bring the membership to 76 individuals representing 20 countries.
