Miller Stays Active in Fight for Health

Six weeks into preventative chemotherapy, world and Olympic champion Shannon Miller (USA) is doing her best to keep an exercise regime. In January, doctors removed a baseball-sized tumor from her ovary, which was discovered during a routine exam. The 34-year-old mom is following fitness guidelines endorsed by the American Cancer Society, including light weights, walking and swimming. "I find exercise is really helping me with the nausea and fatigue and helping me regain control of my life," Miller said.
