Vaculik, the 2007 champion, earned the highest score of the field on uneven bars and was third or higher on the other three events. She outscored silver medalist Madeline Gardiner, who was third or higher on three events but only tied for 12th on vault. Defending bronze medalist Dominique Pegg finished third.

Sydney Sawa and Cynthia Lemieux-Guillemet, the 2009 gold and silver medalists, placed 14th and sixth, respectively.

2008 Olympian Nansy Diamanova tied for 11th place.

Sabrina Gill won the junior women's all-around title over Mikaela Gerber, the younger sister of former Canadian team member Aisha Gerber, and Anna Gamelo. Kristina Vaculik's younger sister, Natalie Vaculik, tied for fourth place.

In the senior men's division, Gafuik earned the highest scores of the field on pommel horse, vault and high bar to easily take the title. Jackson Payne, who placed fourth in 2009, won the silver medal. Tied for the bronze medal were Kevin Lytwyn and Hugh Smith, who last year finished fifth and seventh, respectively.

Defending champion Casey Sandy did not compete. Ken Ikeda, the 2009 silver medalist, was sixth.

Guest competitor Nashwan Haider Al-Harazi, Yemen's first gymnastics Olympian, competed on four events.
