Italy's Carlotta Ferlito was one of four winners Saturday at the 5th annual Liestal International in northern Switzerland.

British gymnasts continued their successful year by winning both junior all-around titles Saturday at the 5th Liestal International in Switzerland.

The competition, held in northern Switzerland near the French and German borders, featured gymnasts from eight nations.

Elisabeth Beddoe led a British sweep of the top four spots in the junior women's all-around. Upstart sisters Venus and Angel Romaeo finished second and third, respectively. Recent Northern European Championships winner Jessica Hogg finished fourth.

Cameron Mackenzie won the men's junior title over a pair of Swiss gymnasts named Janick: Janick Hitz (RLZ Zurich) finished second and Janick Brunner (RLZ NKL) finished third.

Britain's Alex Brailsford finished fourth. Mackenzie and Brailsford both train at the Huntingdon club alongside world all-around silver medalist Daniel Keatings.

Italy's Carlotta Ferlito, born in 1995 but competing among the older gymnasts, won the "senior" title over teammate Emily Armi. Switzerland's Jessica Diacci won the bronze.

Swiss world team member Roman Gisi struck gold for the home team with the senior men's title. Norwegian veteran Espen Jansen, 41, won the silver over Switzerland's Michael Meier, 24 years his junior.
