Default Music help needed please!

firstly i thought this topic was better suited here to the AG topic but if not then please correct me!
My sister needs some new floor music and although her gym have whole bank of pieces she's a bit of a madam about the whole thing and wants to see what else she can have. She's a powerful little gymnast (Shawn/Alicia type) and has never liked the classical graceful music as it doesn't really suit her.

This is her current music (i can't find it on youtube so scroll down and click on number 12 Rain for a sample sorry!) and she wants something more powerful, different and fun, any suggestions? (she doesn't ask for much does she?!)

I think Randy Stageberg's 08 music would suit her if anyone knows what it's called?

That piece you posted is a great one. A little on the short side, but that all depends on age and what you need to get done in the time. The one you posted has some fast and slow which is something I like personally. Something that allows for a little breather.

Hi Hattie,

Sorry for the late post - I just discovered this great forum.

Please check out our website Energym Music. We have lots and lots of really great floor music created specifically for floor exercise.

You'll be able to hear all of our music online, and when you find the right track you can download it to your computer.

Thanks for checking us out,
Larry Hall

I have been coaching beginner gymnasts at the YMCA for about 9 years and just finished my first season Coaching or level 3s, 4s and 5s.
My girls are struggling with shifting their wrists at the end of the front hip circle and kip. Does anyone have any effective drills for front hip circles and kips.
Thanks

"fire on ice" and "scorchio" are pretty good FX cuts for power gymnasts. There is also a short, slower sequence in the middle which is good for the dance element requirements.
